Task description

In the Simulation environment, simulations of scenarios are shown in the form of state-graphs and several kinds of inspections are available to inspect the simulation results.

Task context

The simulation environment can be accessed from the Garp3 main menu and from the Scenario definitions editor. Main screen | Simulate tasks | Scenario definitions editor

Tasks in this workspace

In the simulation environment it is possible to select states and paths from the state-graph, to inspect several aspects of the simulation and to use select and use several operations when running the simulation.

Select: All states | Path | Deselect all states | Individual state
View: Dependencies | Entities, configurations and attributes | Equation history | Model fragments | Quantity values | Transition history | Value history
Run: Find successors | Full | Trace window | Order states | Scenario | Simulation preferences | Terminate states

Example

Simulation environment

The Simulation environment allows users to simulate scenarios, do either partial or full simulations, inspect value, transition and inequality histories, inspect active model fragments, and examine the entities, attributes and configurations view and the dependencies view.
