Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for the role:  

– 2+ years in a software engineer position, ideally in EDA or semiconductor sectors

– Python (Programming Language), Linux, Software Development, Java Script, Algorithms & data-structures

– A working knowledge of python is a must

– Strong SW development skills

– Experience with Git SCM

– Strong Linux skills

– Ability to work in a geographically distributed development environment

– Good communication skills and personal skills in a multi-disciplinary environment

– Proven ability to develop high quality software: versioning, testing, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and documentation

Preferred skills/experience for role

– Experience with C++ programming language, Perl, and databases is a plus

– Knowledge of RTL languages (Verilog, System Verilog) is a plus

– Exposure to EDA tools is a plus

– Familiarity with design collaterals (UPF, SDC) and chip design practices is a plus

Education

Required: Bachelor or Master degree

Study domains: Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
