Senior C++ Software Engineer, Mixed Reality - Qualcomm, Madrid, Spain

Roles & responsibilities
This role is located in Madrid, Spain
Responsibilities:
– Develop algorithms that run smoothly on Qualcomm designed hardware (CPU and DSP)
– Supporting R&D team in development, optimisation of advanced perception algorithms
– Working closely with other teams, integrating other API’s, ensuring that all modules work seamlessly
– Design architecture of C++ modules
Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role:
– 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering
– Expert knowledge of C++ (STL, Boost, Multithreading, IO)
– Strong knowledge of CMake
– Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, software development principles
– Excellent communication and writing skills (English, level B2+)
– System and analytical thinking
Preferred skills/experience for role:
– Additional programming languages: Python, C#, Bash
– Experience with Conan package manager
– Understanding of linear algebra, 3D transformations, graphics pipelines
– Experience with Unity3D, Unreal Engine
– Experience with AR/VR/XR development
– Experience with Android development
The company language is English. You will work together with an international engineering team, therefore communication skills and the ability to work in a team are key to success in this role.
