On the evening of February 7, 2025, the IAI Movie Night took place at Lab 42 in Science Park, bringing together the Inclusive AI community for a special screening of Hidden Figures. This event, hosted by the Inclusive AI Board, celebrated the pioneering contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM fields. The movie night not only showcased the stories of women who overcame immense challenges at NASA but also provided a networking platform for the attendees. Among those who gathered were PhD students, Master’s students, and professors, all appreciated the chance to meet and connect and draw inspiration from the film’s powerful narrative. As we continue to face challenges in life and work, evenings like these serve as a vital reminder of the strength found in unity and shared stories, encouraging ongoing collaboration and support among AI professionals and academics. The Inclusive AI Board thanked all participants who made the evening enjoyable and memorable.
