We are happy to announce that the Amsterdam ELLIS unit has been awarded €49500 in credit for the Google Cloud Platform! The credits will be used to support the unit’s diversity initiative.
The Amsterdam ELLIS unit is committed to increasing diversity in machine learning research. Building off existing initiatives such as MLSS Indonesia and the African Masters of Machine Intelligence program, It plans to launch a diversity initiative at the University of Amsterdam that connects students from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds to top researchers from the unit and the university, and gives them the opportunity to collaborate together on research challenges in a wide range of topics.
