The purpose of this task is to open a model from a file. It is possible to open normal model files but also to open OWL formatted files.
This task can be accessed from the File tasks in the Garp3 main menu. Main screen | File tasks
Press button
Press the 'Open model from file' button.
Select type
In the prompt that opens, select the file type (.hgp or .owl) by using the pull-down menu in the 'Files of type:' field.
Select file
Use the file browser to select the model file that needs to be opened.
Press button
When the file is selected, press the 'Open' button to open the model file. If the current model is saved the selected model will open, otherwise a prompt will ask whether the changed model should be saved first. If the version of Garp3 has Multiple Model support, the model opens in a new tab, independent of the state of other opened models
Cancel operation
To cancel the operation, press the 'Cancel' button.
