About Lydia:

Hi! I joined as a PhD researcher in March 2025 with the Theoretical Computer Science group (TCS) at the Informatics Institute, where I work on code-based cryptography under the supervision of Nicolas Resch.

I have a background in mathematics, having completed my B.Sc. (Ptychion) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and my M.Sc. at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in algebra, geometry, and mathematical logic. My MSc research focused on characterizing profinite bi-Heyting algebras, combining methods from algebra and topology through duality.
