The purpose of this task is to make changes to the intervals of Quantity spaces in the definitions of the model.
This task can be accessed from the Quantity spaces definitions editor. Quantity spaces definitions editor
Select space
Select the quantity space on which the intervals are to be edited.
Split intervals
To add a value somewhere in the middle of the quantity space, the interval needs to be split.
Select interval
Select the interval that needs to be split.
Press button
Press the 'Split interval' button. The interval is split into two intervals and a point between.
Type name
If desired, change the name of the new value.
Combine intervals
To delete a value somewhere in the middle of the quantity space, two intervals need to be combined.
Select point
Select the point between two intervals that you want to combine.
Press button
Press the 'Combine interval' button. The point and the intervals surrounding it are combined into one interval.
Type name
If desired, change the name of the new value.
Apply changes
Save the changes in the editor.
Cancel changes
Cancel current activity and return to the previous situation without saving changes.
