First evaluation case study of DynaLearn in Austria

BOKU conducted a first evaluation of Dynalearn between 19.04.-22.04.2010 at the IHTL Bad Radkersburg. Two students, Sophie Fastian and Oliver Kindler, were working for three days with use levels 1,2 and 4 of DynaLearn, followed by an official presentation of their work at day 4. Evaluations included video taping, a pre- and post test as well as a motivation questionnaire. The evaluation results provide an important first feedback on usability and problems learners encounter with the software. We want to thank the IHTL and both students for their kind cooperation!

IHTL enters DynaLearn as Evaluation Partner

The IHTL Bad Radkersburg (Styria, Austria) aims to provide young people from Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia with a common training to become engineers. As a result of this the graduates should be able to establish and develop a cross-border market and help to promote the economy and culture of the Adria-Alpe-Pannonia Region. DynaLearn software will be introduced by BOKU to train students in a better understanding of local and global environmental issues, especially related to sustainable energy supply within European electricity networks (SmartGrids). The effects of the DynaLearn approach on learning and understanding important related scientific concepts will be evaluated in dfferent classroom settings. Welcome to the Dynalearn project!
