PhD defense by Jochem Liem!

Jochem Liem successfully defended his PhD thesis called Supporting Conceptual Modelling of Dynamic Systems. The thesis describes research performed during the DynaLearn project, which enables learning by conceptual modelling from secondary education onwards. The thesis addresses the following topics: (1) the six Learning Spaces in the DynaLearn software, which simplify learning to model, (2) a method to improve and evaluate models of learners, and (3) an approach to make QR models reusable in the Web Ontology Language, which allows for interoperability between the components in the DynaLearn interactive learning environment.
