Research

Compute and network systems are growing in size and complexity while pervasive sensor networks are increasingly tightly integrated in every aspect of our lives. Economy and society increasingly depend on those systems while trust is fading. The Systems and Networking Lab at the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam, tackles these problems and focuses on a number of research areas that address complexity of cyber infrastructure architecture, privacy, security, trust, multi scale networks and parallel systems engineering.

The researches of the lab are organised in three main themes:

Complex Cyber Infrastructure (CCI)
Complex Cyber Infrastructure (CCI)

Parallel Computing Systems (PCS)

Multi Scale Networking (MSN)
Multi Scale Networks and Systems (MS-NS)
